Welcome to Mynx Academy of Pole Dance

We are currently open for monthly group classes, private lessons, and 60 to 90 minute parties. If you have previous pole dance experience and would like to learn how to become a member or attend as a visiting guest, please contact the studio at MynxAcademy@gmail.com.  If you are new to pole and would like to start, please fill out the New Beginner Notification List to be notified when new Intro-to-Pole classes are starting. New pole dancers must always start with Intro-to-Pole before moving into level classes.

Keeping ourselves, loved ones, and each other safe and healthy are our top priorities. Effective July 1st, 2021 some of our guidelines in response to the pandemic will be changing.

• Majority of classes are Mask Optional starting August 15th 2022. Optional status is dependent on your instructor and can and is allowed to adjust day to day. Going against this policy will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave without credit restoration.

  • Please wear mask properly over nose and mouth.

  • Please bring a mask with you. The masks we have at the desk are meant for emergency use only when you have broken or forgotten a mask. 

• Class caps will be raised back up to 10 for intro classes and 8 for all other weekly group classes. Parties will be capped at 7 guests for the 1 hour option and 12 for the 90 minutes option.

• We are reinstating use of yoga mats, blocks, and straps. We ask that you bring your own when possible. Proper sanitizing after each use is mandatory.

• Each student will still get their own clean pole towel and spray bottle of alcohol that will be placed in the dirty container at the end of each class.

• Please do not attend if you are running a fever, coughing, experiencing shortness of breath, chills, loss of taste or smell, or suspicious muscle aches.       

• Masks are optional for majority of classes. However, please check class descriptions and instructors as some instructors require masks. If you are in a mask required class and don’t respect our instructors request you will be asked to leave with no refund.

• Parties are mask optional by default but you may request masks for your parties if you prefer.

• There will be hand sanitizer for your convenience upon entry and exit. 

• We ask that you still maintain distance between one another.

• Once class is dismissed everyone may place their towel in the dirty basket, grab their belongings, and exit through the front. If you are attending classes back to back, please remain in the lobby during sanitation.

• Thank you so much for your support and cooperation! I realize this may seem like a lot. The safety and health of our students and instructors and their families and loved ones is of utmost importance to us. We will continue to follow the advice of experts and scientists as we continue to adapt and navigate these difficult times. .
