Josphine
I started pole when a friend suggested we take a class together. As plans go about, that never happened. Lol.
However, what started was a six year Pole Journey which lead to performing in Extravaganzas, Pole Comps, and even PoleCon!
It’s been a magical time and with magical folks, and today I would like to share this magic with you all. This is dedicated to all Mynxies out there! Past, Present, and Future! :3 Dance is Magic. -
Ivy Darling
Ivy Darling has been pole dancing for 3 years. She is a loud and proud member of Team Friday (iykyk). When she isn't trying to find ways to do more handstands, she loves be as chalant as possible, spending time with her amazing husband and family, traveling, and bullying her friends into being the best and most extra versions of themselves.
-
Bunny
Bunny has been a student at Mynx Academy for over 3 years and is proudly performing their first solo! You could say she dropped out of beauty school to become a pole dancer ;).
-
Honeypolekisses
Honeypolekisses is a quiet storm, moving with purpose and something unspoken.
She’s spent the past 4.5 years training at Mynx Academy, shaping her voice through movement—curves, breath, and stillness. Her style—contemporary sensual—isn’t just performance, it’s presence. You’ve seen her move through Thicc Like Me, PoleCon, and Mynx Extravaganza, and tonight marks her second time returning to the Mynx student showcase stage. This piece is led by feeling, not force—a slow reveal of something tender, maybe even true. And if it stays with you after she’s gone… that’s exactly how she meant it.
-
Jasmin Tacori
Jasmin Tacori has been a Mynx Student and Floor Fucker for 7 years. She enjoys the challenge of pole and the strength and freedom it gives you. She is so thankful to be a part of the community and has met so many wonderful humans along her pole journey.

Last year, they participated in their first student showcase with a solo low flow routine to The Bend and Snap from Legally Blonde the musical. Following that, they also performed as a backup dancer for another performer during the 2024 Mynx Extravaganza. They’re really excited to perform in the 2025 Mynx Student Showcase and they can’t wait to show off what they’ve been working on!
-
Petra
I go by Petra. I enjoy long walks to the Mynx Studio on beautiful sunny days! During my free time I like to be upside down doing “hot girl circus shit”. The universe brought me to the Michelle Mynx studio in Nov of 2021. That was when I discovered the power of pole dancing. I was looking for a fun fitness alternative and a way to meet bad ass, like mined people. Pole has giving me the space to process overwhelming feelings through dance. It’s an art that I love! The love I’ve received from the pole community is so special. They’ve made me feel seen and welcome since day one! I pull inspiration from all my amazing peers and instructors! I’m very thankful for be apart of a community that offers love and kindness in a world filled with hate.
-
Cowboy Kira
Kira is a seeker of experiences and adventures, and she's been humbled to add pole dancing to her list of hobbies. She has been dancing at Mynx Academy for two years and has decided that the pole is a much more motivating way to get stronger than doing pull ups. Kira would like to thank all the instructors for their patience and encouragement, specifically Regina and Michelle for reminding her that it's OK to be a beginner and to own wherever you are in the journey.
-
Aria Blair
My name is Aria Blair, she/her. I’ve been pole dancing for a year and absolutely fell in love from first step-around. I’ve always enjoyed pushing boundaries and expectations through expression, throw on my favorite song and I’m vibin. My only regret is that I didn’t start sooner!
-
Sirena Soleil
For most of her life, this dancer has struggled to “fit in”. Never really finding her crowd, or people to call family, she struggled with confidence and lacked self love. Upon taking her first pole class at Rebelle Fitness in January of 2019 as a very shy, uncoordinated, inflexible, human, she knew immediately that she had found her “place”. Her incredible instructors (Karen and Bailey) and classmates cheered and applauded every move and effort. She knew then she never wanted to be away from this sport and the incredible community. This is where she belonged. However, in 2021 life got complicated and several health issues and struggles got in the way. Pole got put on the back burner. In October 2024 she enrolled in a class at Mynx and she hasn’t looked back since! She is ecstatic to be back on the stage and doing what she loves again!
-
Vee
Vee, she/her. I have been poling since 2015. I’ve been attending Mynx Academy for 4 months now. I’m very nervous and excited to be performing in the showcase!
-
Oberon
From a young age, Oberon (They/Them) enjoyed growing things, climbing trees, and swinging from rings. They have been pole dancing and taking lessons from Mynx Academy for over six years. They have performed in various aerial and pole shows. Their piece today is inspired by the comfort and companionship a good fantasy book can provide. They hope you’ll think of the special places and adventures that fantasies have taken you as you enjoy their performance.

-
Tat Zing
Tat Zing has been pole-dancing for two years but has been an avid storyteller since they can remember. Over the years she has let out her creative urges with writing and drawing but has only recently gained the courage to share stories through dance outside of the confines of her home.
When she isn't duct taped to the pole she is studying for her bachelor's degree, cuddling her wife and kittens, or volunteering at local wildlife rehab centers in St. Louis. -
Wisteria
Wisteria has been taking classes at Mynx Academy for three years. She has never considered herself a performer, but the support she has received through the St. Louis pole community has given her the confidence to showcase what she has learned. This is her first ever solo performance!
-
EZ
Elena 2.0 aka EZ aka former Sexiest Jesus. She/they. Poling for 4 years total and completely at the Mynx Academy. Pole is amazing because performing lets me wear many hats, mostly the jester kind. But I get to feel strong and confident during such fun times. I’m dedicating this performance to my girlfriend, Taylor, a pole bitch in training:)
-
Madison Strange
Madison has been a part of Mynx Academy for 2 years and is proud to be a part of the beautiful community! Her favorite part about pole is the creative outlet it allows everyone to have. She loves to figure out ways to incorporate movement within the pole and experimenting. In her free time she loves to create, listen to music, and bake.
-
Hell Belle
Hell Belle has been acting up in Mynx Academy classes for three years. A shy and awkward potato has finally found her creative outlet at Mynx, as well as a hell of a workout. She is incredibly for all the opportunities this community has given her, the skills, the confidence, and the friendships. She wouldn’t have stayed without Team Friday and the House of Gainz. When she’s not acting a fool with her Mynx crew you can find her online in School of Stripcraft, or at home with her husband Brian and their two dogs: Zoe and Hans.
-
Dae
I’ve been pole dancing for over seven years, the last few here at Mynx. It’s one of my longest hobbies and deepest loves outside of my cats. I enjoy combining my love of literature and mythology into my pole performances and challenging myself to create interesting flows. My current deep fascination is the lore behind the band Sleep Token and their worship of the god Sleep throughout the albums.
-
Ashe Bathory
Approximately five years ago, I woke up and said: "You know what I wanna do before I die? Pole dance." I took one class, and that was all I needed to fall in love with the art. Pole is not only an emotional and creative outlet, but it continues to challenge and inspire me to perform on an athletic level. With an emphasis on musicality, I love portraying characters and their stories on stage by blending buttery movement with powerful tricks. Oh, and I really, really like doing it to metal
-
Lee Cheshire
Lee Cheshire has been pole dancing since old school was just school and the new it moves were named after pioneers. Lured in by the first 420p YouTube videos, she's scrambled for every DVD set, pole class, and online offering since. Though she may see other aerial arts on the side, pole will always be her greatest love From the first 'you can bruise there?' until the last 'point your fucking toes'.
-
Cassi O'Peia
Cassi O'Peia has been pole dancing for over three years now, most of which she has spent training at the Mynx Academy. As a lifelong dancer, her love for movement began over 15 years ago and has only deepened since discovering her passion for pole. For this routine, she’s pushing past her comfort zone and embracing the styles and moves that scare her most—because what is growth without a little fear?
-
Gwendalyn
Hello! My name is Gwen and my stage name is Gwendalyn. My pronouns are she/her. I've been pole dancing for a little over 3 years now, I took my first class November of 2021 and have been obsessed since! I've been at Mynx Academy for 2 years, since January of 2023. My favorite style of pole to learn is low flow, but I also like challenging myself with aerial tricks. I also love spin pole! The piece I'm performing for the showcase is about embracing my sexy and gaining empowerment from that because pole has taught me to do that! One of the many ways pole has benefitted my life! I'm so excited to be a part of the student showcase and mynx community! :)
-
Ruby's Baddies
Ruby's Baddies loved this routine from STL Pole Show Emo Night twice that they just had to do it twice!
Get ready to revisit your high school angst because there’s gonna be a class war. We’re talking the emos vs the preps. Who’s gonna come out on top?
-
Rochelle
Rochelle grew up dancing, but took a break from it during college, as so many people do. When she went to a pole dance party almost 13 years ago, she fell back in love with a more grown up feeling style of dance. Now she teaches classes at Energy Yoga and Wellness, as well as parties and subs at Mynx Academy. She is so excited to share her love of dance with you at the Mynx Student Showcase!
-
Fawn de Light
Fawn de Light (they/them) fell for pole over the summer of 2021 and has been training at Mynx Academy since 2023. When they're not grinding at the studio, Fawn's out in the wild, weaving flower crowns and wading in the water. Make a splash with Fawn tonight!
-
Cece Raven
Cece Raven is a true child of the 90's. In this performance, she's bringing a piece of the 90's to you/ riot grrrl feminism. From the shores of the Pacific Northwest to the stage of the Midwest, Cece is channeling Kathleen Hannah and all the badass women that got tired of being relegated to the sidelines of punk culture and calling all girls to the front!
-
Hesper
Hesper is a twenty-something nursing student that loves rodents, applesauce, making ice cream, and spending an inappropriate amount of money at the craft store. She found her way to Mynx Academy three or four years ago, she's not really sure, she was never that good at math. When she's not on the pole or studying, you can find her looking for frogs at the park, catching up on YouTube drama, or eating an entire charcuterie board wine drunk. This year, she'll be sharing a piece that she made because she thought her buddies would like it, and yes, she rhinestoned her crop top herself.
-
Primordial Peach
Primordial Peach has been pole dancing for almost four years, and has been a Mynx student for three! Today is her 26th birthday, and she can't think of a way she would rather spend it than doing what she loves most surrounded by her pole family. In just a couple of months, she will begin a new job in Madison, Wisconsin, and although she is excited for this new adventure, she is sad to leave her community in St. Louis. Tonight, her performance is a celebration of her growth, her friends, and all the love in her life-- she is beyond lucky to have found something that's so hard to say goodbye to.
